Did Jon Bon Jovi snub Michael Jackson at last week's World Music Awards?
Insiders say Beyoncé had to present the King of Pop his Diamond Award when the Jersey rocker, who was also in London, "didn't want to share the stage with Jackson."
According to a backstage source, "nobody wanted to present him with the award" because of the stigma of his molestation trial.
Bon Jovi, who took home the same Diamond Award in 2005, was in London to be inducted into the UK Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But the official word from his rep is: "An invitation to attend and/or present at the World Music Awards was not received."
Jacko's diva behavior was blamed for his getting through just two verses of "We Are the World" before the venue's ironclad curfew kicked in, cutting off the music.
"[Jackson] didn't want to come out of his room and come onstage, so Beyoncé had to basically go in there and persuade Michael to get onstage," says the source.
The delay even caused Beyoncé to miss her flight home. But don't worry, she was able to borrow the jet of a local billionaire for the trans-Atlantic jaunt.

This story is obviously not true. Why would Bon Jovi be the one presenting Jackson with anything in the first place? Beyonce presented him with the award because she was supposed to, she calls him the biggest influence on her career and presented him with awards in the past at other award shows and even performed at his 30th anniversary concert.
The whole "nobody wanted to present him with an award" is absolute BS as well, the diamond award was made just for him and he has long been in goodstanding with the folks at the World Music Awards. If they hadn't wanted to give him an award, they wouldn't have.
As for his "diva behavior" for just singing a few verses of We Are The World, he was never scheduled to perform anything, just to be there in person to accept the award. The whole bit about him performing Thriller was a tabloid rumor.
I'm so tired of reading blatant lies about this man on the part of the press. It's so completely tacky and irresponsible.
Who knows but, BON JOVI FUCKING SUCKS SWEATY ASS!
