Once again, Babs was taking jabs at President Bush during her concert on Monday in Florida when a fan threw a paper cup full of 'some sort of liquid' onstage at the singer.
Streisand's manager, Martin Erlichman, said Streisand blew off the split cup and responded,"It's a free country and they're entitled to express their opinion."
This is the third concert where Barbra has gone off on a political tangent. Streisand and her manager said that they thought it was a lighthearted skit and was meant to be in good fun. They also said that the skit will remain on their future itinerary. "This skit has been so massively covered by media, it's impossible that it still could come as a surprise to any of the Bush admirers who bought tickets. It stays in the show except for the few performances where Steve (Republican & writer of the skits) has a conflicting commitment," Erlichman said.

There's a fine line between voting and forcing your views on everyone, and Babs doesn't seem to get it. I may not like Dubya, but I don't believe in jumping on a soapbox, either. It's a stage, not a fucking platform. Save it for the convention. Reminds me of someone telling Bill Murray that 'you can get more flies with honey than vinegar', and he said "WHO. WANTS. FLIES?!?!"
