David Blaine spent two days spinning in a gyroscope over New York's Times Square and once given the go-ahead, broke free of his shackles within thirty minutes. 
He then fell and crashed through a wooden stage directly below.
He got up and limped away before being taken away in a cab.
David did this all for 100 underprivileged children so that they may go on a holiday shopping spree in the store, Target.
The event also raised money for The Salvation Army, who David says clothed him when he was a child.
Way to be in the holiday spirit David!

That is cool of him...BUT what would have happened if he did not make it out in time? That would have been jacked up to turn 100 needy kids away. I'm sure they would have done it regardless but it is something to ponder.

Not to be a spoilsport here, but I'm worried that Davey may have a deathwish or two. I could say the same thing about Criss Angel, too. However, seeing Paris Hilton give him the cold shoulder last month showed that he can't work his magic on everything.
